Instrument Panel and Sync Screen dead…

I have a 2017 F250 powerstroke and the instrument panel and sync screen are dead. They won’t turn on at all. No gauges or anything function. The truck will start and runs perfectly. Everything else in the truck, climate control, power windows, power seats, etc. works fine. I’ve checked the fuses and they’re not blown. I’ve been chasing wires, specifically the hs3-can wires from the IPC and the APIM/Sync screen and haven’t found any breaks. I took it to a dealer last year to see if they could solve it, it ended up draining the batteries in their lot and when they jumped it the screens magically came back on. They put new batteries in it and all was good. Until fall hit and the weather started getting cold. The screens went black again and I haven’t been able to get around to looking into it until now. The brand new batteries went dead again over the winter. Seems like there’s some sort of parasitic draw. The IPC and APIM/sync screen do work, I swapped them into a donor pickup and they both turn on like they should so I could eliminate that as well. Does anyone have any other ideas on what it might be or what I could/should be looking at?

Thanks!

Hello, I came across this post and I wanted to know if you resolve the issue with the new IPC module. I checked all the fuses and relays that I can and did a little of owning to find out if it had a broken wire, but couldn’t seem to find anything. I am connected to FORScan
and I do not see the IPC module at all and I get a lot of lost communications with the following modules the BDYCM, FCIM, FCDIM, TRLRBM module

here is a picture of my current DTC codes. Please let me know if you can be some assistance. I really appreciate it.

Problem solved!!!! After researching forscan software and founding out that I do not have a IPC module available. I had to do a lot of investigation and research on the Internet and found there was a communication issue in the CAN BUS network. The HS3 (white with a green stripe wire) was found broken on top of the steering wheel column by a piece of metal on the cab support and possibly someone who previously who messed with the wire harness. All good now. Thanks for all that helped on my post..
