I believe it still unlocks during the shift to 4th and then just relocks as soon as the shift is made.
I guess I am confused from info you initially gave(“I also have an issue with my TC. When it locks soon after it shifts into 4th/OD making it seem like a very short shift”.) and what I am I understanding to be said now.
plus what the video showed. (Had to watch it without volume, kids sleeping next to me)

Looks normal to me. Actually better than normal. The TC appeared to be doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It's going to hold out the lock up during hard acceleration to prevent a harsh engagement. Otherwise parts start breaking from shock loads.

Even though it makes it feel like a super delayed shift? Only does that under heavy accel. I'd have to record another video of just normal driving, but the TC locks up around 43mph and shifts into 4th around 47mph.
