What type of code do the 7.3 use ? What is being tested and to what standard ? Can,OBD?

It's J1850 PWM protocol OBDII pinout. However it's really non-OBDII compliant and that's why most off the shelf scanners won't work.

so any scanner that claims to be sae j1850 pmw compatable will read a 95 f350 7.3 powerstroke?
