I did and they wouldn’t help me, had bought the chip from a diesel place in AZ. Where he gets his tunes from jelibuilt.

Well you can order new tunes from anybody. Jelibuilt. Sdk. Gear head. AA. Anybody can order them. You don't have to get somebody to do it for you. You just need your pcm code. Serial number off the hydra. And your mods you have done. Then email it to them and they email you the tune files and you load them on your hydra. You can buy jsut 1 or 2 tunes to start with to see if it's actually a tuning issue.

I just posted about a similar issue. TC lock up sucks when running a tune and I think mine is tuning related as well. Or, hoping so. It's a newer HD transmission and TC.
I just changed transmission fluid per recommendation of Mark K. Seemed to help lock up when in stock mode but if I run a tune the TC lock up is slow and herky jerky especially if into the pedal at all. RPMs jump around too. If you put yours in stock mode how is your lock up?
I was going to give Jellbuilt a shot and see if it helps.

had a trans issue with their tunes as well, was told they are the same tunes they run on their trucks, ended up happy with tunes from the PHP modified library

I also have an issue with my TC. When it locks soon after it shifts into 4th/OD making it seem like a very short shift. I have custom tunes from Jeli and they could never get it worked out. It works fine on the modified stock one.

It is typically supposed to lock as soon as it shifts to 4th.

It does 1 to 2, 3 to TC lock then about another 6 or 7 mph it shifts to 4th.

It should not be hard to have the tuning adjusted to delay that shift to 4th in order to avoid lugging the engine down so much.
