Just looking for some feedback from those of y'all out there running an LED (or similar) light bar across the top of your windshield. Do y'all have any problems with the collision avoidance camera? In my '19 F150 STX, the collision camera is mounted in a box near the top of the windshield. I did have my EZ Pass sensor near that box and it effected the camera (I actually had to get the camera replaced because it stopped working). My dealership recommended mounting my EZ Pass sensor as far away from the camera as possible. My concern is, the ebay special brackets I want to use mount on the lip of the exterior A pillar (in the door jamb area). This would bring the light bar across my windshield just above my camera. I'd rather not drill holes into the truck only to find out the light bar interferes with my camera. Any feedback y'all have is appreciated!
From everything I've read and heard, you will not like the wind noise that it causes and the light glare on the hood. It was popular awhile back to mount lights that way, but you hardly see it anymore.

So, Let me clarify what exactly I am trying to do: I'm not installing an LED light bar, I'm actually trying to install some old school KC HiLites Daylighter lights using the KC HiLites Xross bar. 1) I like the calssic look of the round KC lights, 2) I'm not a huge fan of the LED Light bars because they don't have very much visual appeal. I'm also not overly concerned about wind noise.
I guess I could rig up a mount to go across my overlanding rack I have on the bed of the truck to see how much light I lose mounting the lights all the way back there.
If you already have a roof rack, an extension to that is probably the best and simplest way to do it. How far back is the front of your rack right now, shouldn't be hard to get something that moves the mounting point 4-5 inches forward, I would think (hope).

I'll take a picture of it today and post it (and also update my signature picture). It's not technically a 'roof rack' it's one of those overlanding racks that go over the bed. I guess you could call it a glorified ladder rack. I can probably rig up some brackets that mount to the overlanding rack and put the light bar over the cab by a couple inches. Honestly at this point I may even scrap the overhead light bar entirely. I have a couple KCs on the brush guard and a pair of ditch lights. The overhead light bar may be a little overkill at this point.
