So I did a search through the forums and I dont see anything that I need for information. I could just be a little lame and overlooked it. but here goes.
I want / need to add additional lighting to my 04 SD DRW. For a variety of reason.
HOWEVER, My truck gets re-purposed on such a regular basis that I have to be conscious of many factors. With this said, I am looking to mount an LED bar level with the height of the roof, infront of the windshield. I measure the windshied at 62" I do not find many light bars in excess of 50"
I would prefer the curved for aesthetic purposes, but am open to anything.
What do you guys have for LED Light bars, windshield are mounted?
As an fyi, the reason for the roof limitation is a slide in camper that I carry during the summer. I plow a road in the winter that is almost 2 miles of dirt from any civilization, the more light I can shed, the happier I am.
Not sure about the mounts but i did a lot of research on cheaper light bars and www.auxbeam.com was the best deal i could find while still getting a quality product.

X2 for Auxbeam. Good light for the money. Ordered from their site and they shipped free. Arrived in good shape in two days. They had new models that weren't offered anywhere else.

I would say check out Rough Country. I know they have a 52 that's curved. Not sure about the mounts. But I have two of their 30 inch bars up front and two 6 inch bars in the rear. And all of these are going strong a year in with exposure to all 4 seasons.
