My hood of choice for sledin is a 70's Ford Truck hood (high front and sides) doesn't get pulled under in snow. I've also welded a couple of old-old hoods (40's) together to make a boat, it drowned under 3 270 lb. guys because it rusted through, I think, unless someone stole it, but it weighed a good 350 lbs. I also made a pawntoon out of 50 gal. plastic drums and old pallets. Also where did you get a rebel flag headliner, mines fallen down and that would be so cool to have, I was just goona put custom flames in mine w/ carboard when I get around to redoing it.

im a senior in highschool, im not conceited or anything but i guess you could say i run around with the "popular" crew. im not a bad looking guy, and have never had a girlfriend till this semester. ive had plenty of girls try to start something with me but ive always thought high school was too short to have a relationship. its all about partying with your friends and having lots of memories. there are very few girls in high school that are mature enough to produce a good relationship anyways. ill admit i fell for an absolutely gorgeous freshman (yeah i know, pretty young huh) she was so good for me. and than she just dumped me for no reason, said i was too attached. it hurt pretty bad, but you know what? there are so many girls out there. i am still mad at myself for getting a girlfriend, i couldnt act crazy during that time, or raise hell. a girlfriend in highschool is a joke. having a group of good friends is what important.

I like everyone in high school says its all about "the memories".

Seriously...in five years you wont even think about it, much less remember it. I forgot everyone's name i went to school with about 3 months out.

Those who do remember it are the 40 year olds you see hanging out at the school basketball courts.

I'm not a witch!! I just like to dominate. LOL

If you're looking for a girlfriend, look deep into their heart. A good woman can see past your disabilities. Make sure you don't come on too strong to them either. Maybe ask a girl if she wants to catch some grub, or even go for a cruise in the truck.

A good women is one that would hang out with you, rather than party with others. She wants to be swept off her feet, not dragged to bed. Know what I mean? That's why older men have problems understanding women. They forget about romance, and seduction, and most importantly, friendship. Then they blame us women for being snots!

Guys, when was the last time you gave your wife flowers, or slipped a sexy note into her purse, before work? Did you grab her and kiss her passionately while she was cooking, for no reason? Hmm?

By the way, I know how you feel. It took my husband a long time to realize that someone would love him for who he was. He was hit with menengitis really bad, then busted his back. Now, I am the supporter, and he gets to raise our child at home. I get nagged at all the time by my hubby. He constantly reminds me of his bad back, when I ask him to go offroading with me. If he doesn't go with me, then I don't go. I'm not living it up without him. I don't see him as having disabilities, I see him as a whole man. And that's what you need to see yourself as.

I never missed High school, but I have missed the simplicity of life that was my teenage years. I was never popular, although I had some really good close friends, and we're all still very close. Its funny now to see the "popular" kids who have grown up and not done anything with their lives. It makes me glad I had my priorities straight. I'm a terribly shy person who has spent many days single. But, lucky for me, I found that special person and married her. And, to top it off, she lets me work on my truck whenever I want. In fact, she encourages it. Why just the other day, I was really getting on her nerves and she told me to get the h*** out of her house and go work on the truck . Its great to have such a supporting wife, isn't it?

i hear ya bigblu!

we females crave those little things (like compliments and notes and what-not) like you men crave that other thing! however, it is important that you men do those little things with out expecting anything in return. as a female nothing is worse than feeling like or being told that you owe him something...

and dustin,

just be yourself and find a female FRIEND or three. find out what she likes and all and let things progress naturally. if you really like a girl but she's not interested, if you really like her, be persistent (sp?), but not a stalker! also, if you don't already have a summer job or something, find one, then get to know the people you work with, male and female. everybody knows somebody with a cute sister....

high school isn't everything in life, tho, it's only 4 years of it

im currently a senior and ive had about 5 girlfriends through high school. i could of had more probably because i have no problem asking girls out. im not shy, and a girl likes a guy who has confidence, which i have but the problem is i cant find many girls worth asking.

i just say dont let anything hold you back, just be yourself and have a good time. when girls see how well you carry yourself they might become interested. if not then they arent worth your time. just have fun and keep workin on your truck, you have your whole life ahead of you.

my recent girlfriend just dumped me sunday night after 2 amazing months. im gonna get her back though....

High school is just like the county jail: kick somebody's *** the first day, and nobody will touch you the rest of your time there. Well that may not work for everybody but I will tell you this. High school is a very awkward time for most people. As for the girls being snobby, let me tell you a little story. In high school, there were two girls that rarely talked to me or I to them, because I thought they were stuck up, I don't know what they thought of me. Anyhow, the first thanksgiving break of college, literally months after HS, they were both all over me and I watched these two hot sororighty girls make out in front of me. So, that my point is just tough out high school, keep your head up and graduate. Good times will come.
