has anyone completed installing of oem tpms and rear trailer camera? Instructions contradict themselves surprise surprise. On part says tpms wont work with steel belted tires, then it shows you how to mount the module for steel belted tires. Another sections states sensors should not contact rim, then it says to mount them against the rim. Lastly it states if you want to set trailer up for blind spot monitoring there is a different placement for the tpms module. I have yet found the instructions for that lol. Any suggestions Im using factory setup to avoid having multiple screens I would need for aftermarket.

I’ve been running the trailer tpms/ camera system since my F350 was new in 2017. The tpm’s has been installed in 3 sets of tires & have worked pretty much flawlessly though I did have one that worked sporadically but retraining it fixed the problem. I was worried about the steel tire or steel belted tire issue too but when the monitors worked ok with the first set of tires I didn’t consider what the construction of the tires was when I changed them out the next times. The last set I put on are Goodyears, really beefy & highly rated radials, don’t remember the model but they’re working fine with the monitors. As far as your other issues, I didn’t do the install, had mine installed at General RV.
