I think my ring is just like yours but PAINT instead of chrome . I prefer chrome but paint looks better than I could ever imagine.......Well I bought a trashed button I was gonna paint Argent at a huge bargain that I guess I do not need , but I like having spare/different parts anyway...
Now I need a $75.00 emblem..........ha
Always sumpn' ........lol...
OK , yours does not a spring ? I think it uses a rubber insulator , is this true ???

Not sure without taking it apart, and the truck is away for the winter right now. Sorry.

That emblem fits so well that it looks like 1 piece . So , when my button arrives it may have an emblem because it is coming with a plate that may go with the emblem..........I sure hope so...No , that can not be true because it has the button part.............they look just alike the ring looks like the button & vice versa...........ha

The Feds wouldn't allow a car manufacturer to build a vehicle without a horn. They usually have used a horn button, horn ring, or rim blow wheel.

The problem that I'm having with my 67 F-100 horn is .I need the little spring that makes the horn work. It's a spring that attaches to a brass piece. That when you push on the horn ring the spring makes current flow and the horn honks. Does anybody know where I can find one.? And is it like a lot of other 67 parts a one year only deal or can I use one from a 68/72.? Thanks.

Also appears that horns are not resilient

DC does indeed list the horn brush. Under Ford's part number C2OZ13A821A.

I looked up that spring. You are correct RTT.
C1TZ13A807A for the ring.
C1TZ13A807B for the button.
Both discontinued by Ford many moons ago.
I found only one in my search (but not evilbay). Click on the "contact seller" Good luck though, I have tried once in the past with only crickets.
