Door lock

Hi, today I went to open my driver side door and as usual I turned the key left and it sounded like it opened but when I went to open the door it was still locked when I went to check the lock it was spinning freely from left to right.

As I recall, you have a '56.

My first guess is the lever has come out of the end of the lock cylinder. Or at least has slipped out of the door latch.

The good news is pulling the inside handle will unlock the door. The pre-1953 trucks don't do that.

I pulled the inner handle up and it didn't unlock seems like I would need to remove the door panel and fix the stuff up.
