My truck has gone through at least one bad paint job. Evidence popping up along the drip rail. Any recommendations on dealing with the rust without getting overly invasive? I was thinking of a Dremel tool behind the drip, surgically applied POR15 and then an air brush to get color back behind the drip rail. it won’t be perfect but I do want to stop the rust from spreading.
Not to make it look great, but just to save it until next repaint, etc .... might help to chip / brush all visable rust out, a rust converter, and cover with sealer and paint if you like, your POR15 might do it.
Oh, yeah .... didn't make a lot of sense to me. One said it was easier to patch the holes but he stuck the stick ons in place later. The other one was one I found as an abandoned wreck upside down in some trees down over a bank.
