Fuel Filter Replacement.....
I have the F-250 2002 5.4L 2V with 238,000 miles. I personally never changed the fuel filter and I am the original owner. I have been doing more repairs on it now learning more in the last 15 years of owning it. So it's time to change. For those who have had to change, did you notice dirty fuel coming out of it? Any improvement when the swap was completed? Any tips other than seeking out some videos and the corner Auto Parts store?

I did my 99's a bit ago. Kinda of a PITA with the plastic lines and the dirt that accumulates in the ends of the squeeze clips. Try to blow out the ends where the lines go into the filter if possible to clean it out. IIRC used some WD or something to flush the out as well. Far as dirty gas coming out, not that I recall as most of the crap is likely welded to the filter element from the fuel pressure. But if there is lots Id guess you might see some. Thats all I have for ya.
