Last time I purchased fuel was January 12th - You gotta love the S&B 60 gallon tank. Anyway, on Saturday I filled the truck and three - 5 gallon fuel cans for the tractor:
This is the receipt from TSD. Not bad - $46.49 saved off the pump price, $3.46 / gallon net. I could have driven into Knoxville to the T/A truck stop and got it for $3.30 / gallon but my time was worth more than the $12 savings.
The trucker that used the pump before me chalked up over $734 for his ~ 180 gallon fill.
I always use TSD if available. If not TSD, then Mudflaps. Good savings and very convenient to fuel at truck lanes without first going in and giving them a credit card.
When using Mudflaps, you may have to go in first to show them the code and get pump turned on. So far, the only exception I have found is Maverik; enter code at the pump.
I saved $306.96 in January alone. All at one of two Kwik Trips, depends on if I needed DEF or there was more than one truck waiting. I like that it shows 3 months of savings on the account page.
