Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 1965 F100. The cab is pretty rusty and I would have the opportunity to get a fully restored 1967 cab.
The cab will probably fit on the chassis, but will the 65 doors and fenders also fit? As far as I know, the dashboard 67 is different, but I can manage to convert it.
Sorry you thought things are that easy. Spend the money on a nicer truck and then before changing one to the other, buy a nicer truck. 65-66 trucks are a rare time in Fords lineup.
Thanks for your quick response, then I will restore the original cab.
do you think I could use parts of a 67 cab to cut out repair sheets, like the windshield frame or partly the floor?
Since windshield also different I'd be skeptical about any frame parts working on the '65. Floor patch panels are easy to get so shouldn't even consider hacking up the restored '67 (not even saying would work tho) My 2 cents- forget about the '67 and focus on '66 or earlier cab or parts.
