As long as they are the same type of cab, everything should line up on the frame. The cab on the truck's have been the same since basically 1980 if I'm not mistake. They just changed what everything around and in the cab looked like. The only thing I would double check is mounting the 1988 interior in a 1995 cab. Not sure if that can be done without modification.
i had a guy look at the 95 cab i had that wanted to put it on a 89 cause hes already 3 cab swaps on that truck before he said the panel for the parking brake mechanism has to moved further down or something like that for the older year trucks. didnt know what but thats what he said and he seemed to know a lot about it.

There are quite a few difference between the interior of the 80-86/87-91/92-97
I have done such a swap, I have a 95 on a 82 frame, the only differance is in the way the bumper mounts to the front. You`ll need to ad the bracket mounted to the frame to accept the bumper, I think I used the bracket off a 87-91..
So it sounds as if I move the cab and clip as a whole it will bolt up, but if I want plug and play with wiring I need to find one with a 460 EFI in it?
