navigation screen help

Hi everyone, thanks in advance, please try and understand, I'm obviously too old, I'm ok with old trucks, and motorcycle's, but i just bought a 2023 f 150 5.0, used with 850 miles on it, sync 4/4A from a GMC dealer,{ i also have a 2018 f 150 5.0 that i love,180,000 miles} i just can't get the navigation icons to work on the 2023 I only get a basic map, and i tried using fordpass connect, its an XLT , was a special order, ok ,so I'm assuming, i need the subscription, to connect this nav system, i won't be able to just use a basic navigation program like in the 2018, is this right . again ,------ thanks for any input, tony schuko

Being that it is a 23 model yes you will need to subscribe to navigation. If they didn't raise the price it's $80 a year. I really like the Ford navigation so I subscribe.

It's still active on my '21 F150 but when it does end I will use Waze. It seems to be a good replacement for the Ford navigation. $80.00 per year is a little extreme for what you get.
