How to start (remote start/alarm setup)
1999 7.3 F350 Truck came with Clifford RS3 alarm with remote satellite feature. Can be a block away and remote start. Honestly have no idea about this. Key to starter position produces nothing ( alarm disabled). I can remote start. Believe can keep it on if follow manual and don't touch brake pedal before turning key to run. I cannot find a trick to start using FOB and key ON. I bypassed ignition switch and went to starter relay till now.
Truck probably saw theft attempts before me. Presume they had ignition disabled. Now I am adding kill system, was wanting to re-enable key function when alarm disabled.
If anyone else starts truck exclusively by Viper or Clifford fob, because key is disabled, can you educate me?
btw, thieves failed to start this when they tried to steal it from me.
