I have a 2021 F-150 XL for a work pickup. This has the FordPass remote start which at times doesn't want to start for reasons that I have no idea. Maybe iffy cell service at my house? Anyway, I just bought a new key fob with the remote start button on it. Once I get the remote and somebody to cut the key I'll get it programmed and see if it will remote start from the fob. Has anybody else tried this?

 

You could just get the Ford Perimeter Plus security system (around $170). It gives you remote start using the regular key fobs by press lock-unlock-lock.

I have the 2021 F-150 Super Crew XLT. The Ford Pass App seems to be a little flakey and I have great cell service.
