Enable remote start problems 12 f550
Hi, new here and thanks you in advance. My company recently purchased a 2012 F550 tow truck. I wanted to add remote start and asked the dealer I tow for about it and was told about the plug n play kit. I got it installed but when the dealer tried to enable remote start with IDS they go through everything and click activate it tells them remote start not enabled. It gives a check list of basic things like does vehicle have hood switch, is antenna plugged in, but that has all been checked. The tech said I would have to drop it off and they would have to diagnose why it won't turn on but not wanting to pay dealer price chasing this. Has anyone had any problems like this or know where to even start looking.
