Absolute Truth - is there?
Matt 4:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
I don't know if I would use this quote, if I was you.
Lets think about what fishing is, you put a morsel of food on an nice shiny hook, throw it into the waters and hope for some sucker to come along and swallow it hook line and sinker, getting pulled thrashing into the boat to be killed and eaten. Not a real inspiring analogy, the way I look at it. But you have to admit there are aspects that really do seem quite true to form. I quess this might be one of those situational truth sort of things.
Please don't think too ill of me, I just can't help myself sometimes. You can make fun of my signature like others have.

. . .You can make fun of my signature like others have.

. . but I was confident you would quickly put it in context with the typer (ME) and disregard it completely. Like everyone else does to what I say.

Let me explain, the absolute truth is out there. It is the totality of everything. However, my conceptualization of this concept is relative to my personal experiences. There is not a universal conceptualization of absolute truth. There can never be so therefore the concept of absolute truth is relative.
If one is afraid of death, or the un-knowing, they will look to falsehoods for comfort. If they find comfort in these falsehoods, then they believe it to be true when acctually it is illusion.

Would that my brain and fingertips could keep up in this fashion.
Don't see how I could have described some of my core perceptions any more clearly. Thank you, Whistler and Sinjin.
