A/T column shifter
The collar for my shifter is all worn out and the roll pin is about to fall out. I guess I need to get a new collar , pin and plastic bushing. Should I get a new shift lever also? Is their any thing special I need to know about taking it apart and putting it back together? 1979 F350 column shift A/T no tilt.

The shift lever to my knowledge is not reproduced, so you would have to find a good used one. Mine was worn pretty bad too, but the lever itself turned out to be fine- it was just the collar causing the issue. Might also double check your shift linkage and bushings as well as your steering column lower bushing. These are all on the usual suspects list for shifter slop.
