Column shifter popped out
I went to go and shift my truck out of park, and I pulled the whole column shifter out. How do I fix it, and what part do I need. Truck is an 1986 f250 6.9 with the c6.

I dont have a auto to look but I thought they had a pin that went thru the collar to the handle?

Looking at a diagram it looks like that is the case, I’m assuming I have to take the steering wheel off to get to it?

i figured it out anyway, I found the pin on the ground and just pounded it back in. Thanks for replying!

Good to hear you got it back together again.
You want to look into something that will hold that pin in place as it should not "pop out".
