What have you all done with the floor stiffener.I left the stiffener under the seat in. My plan is to cut a slot for it in the carpet. I don't think I have heard any mention of if except a thread about some trucks had it and some did not. I had not thought of what to do with it when I got to carpet?? Dean
Isn't it just a piece of angle iron screwed to the floor? Not an expert on these models, but that's my recollection. If so, I wouldn't cut the carpet for that, but rather paint the metal carpet color to match, then bolt it down over the carpet, if you wanted to keep it as intended. It may not even be necessary. Your option.
I cut the carpet on mine. I also used velcro between the seat rails and the door so that I could pull the carpet back to access the battery and the brake master cylinder. I also cut the insulation for the battery and brake master cylinder access.
