I have 2017 that has the frozen door lock issue, I have not taken it in as of yet..... I have herd from a couple of friends that it did not work for them. As you know Ford has extended the warranty for 10 years on this issue.

I have to do something for next year... its happening far to often for me. I hope you guys with the newer trucks don't have to deal with this.

Has anyone had much luck with Fords fix?

Not a lot of information unfortunately. It was covered pretty well back in 2017-18 but getting the search function to dig it up isn't easy, if it happens at all.
