The offer could be zero for that $80K truck. All the specifications or brochures I have seen state that Ford is not liable for errors, omissions or changes. Their only obligation is to correct the error.

How many would have walked away from buying their truck had the correct HP been shown? The answer is ZERO, Ford isn't obligated to do anything yet they are throwing $100 at people. There's certainly other things I can loose sleep over than a measly 15 HP that isn't even noticed unless thrown on a dyno anyway.
The E-series was 25HP and 18TQ that's why they get up to $300. There is legal precedence for this because Hyundai was sued over the same thing. Their payout was a class action payout that's why it was like $225. I dont know how much they overstated the power numbers. Some states have very consumer friendly consumer protection laws about stuff like deceptive marketing.
My father got this check from Ford for $200.00, he has a 2021 F600. He of course consulted his business attorney and was advised if cashed it is considered a settlement between owner and Ford and will exempt him from any future lawsuit that may or may not take place about the false advertising and may or may not pay out a settlement sum of more than the $200.00 he was originally offered.
I don't even know how much horsepower my truck has... but I'll take the hundred bucks if I am eligible... Does it include 2023 7.3?
My understanding is that it's '22's, your '23 should have more HP, because they did a bump. I don't understand why they just don't flash mine to '23 numbers, I would be happy then.

‘23 and newer 7.3’s have a different intake manifold and a smaller impeller in the water pump. That’s why they make more HP. They have stamped instead of cast rocker arms too.
