I am trying to change the motor 5.4 4x4 2008 F250. I want to remove the compressor and leave the lines attached so I don’t have to drain the AC. I can’t get to or even see the bottom bolts. There is a skid plate right under it. Is this possible without removing the skid plate?
Should I just release the AC coolant? And leave it on engine until I pull it?
I’m not a mechanic and am doing this from YouTube videos. Trying to save money.
thanks.
