That question depends on if your required to pass emision testing & it depends on how strict your state is on emissions.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it and I believe I know what I'm gonna do now.Headers,cherry bomb glass packs,and dual exhaust.

One more question.How does the case length of glass pack mufflers affect them?

The shorter they are, the louder and raspy they are. The longer they are the more deep throat idle sound and loud sound when on the throttle. I personally like the longer ones. Had some long ones on a truck once and 4" tips (22" long) sticking out the back. I could be herd for about a mile or so it sounded great. Go somewhere in between short and long, get a medium length and i think youll like it. Dont forget to add tips though.
