So, my clutch pivot that is attached to the block snapped about a week ago. While installing the new one I noticed that the one attached to the frame is on its way out. So I was looking into finding one and I'm just curious if one from a '73-'76 would work. That's all Jeff's Bronco Grave
yard offers and I haven't seen one anywhere else. Any idea?
Well that's my problem most places don't have it in stock or just don't make it. So I'm curious as to if the one at Jeff's would work. I appreciate the help though!
What motor do you have that you found the block side pivot?

I have the the 300. It's a NP T-18 with 4WD. Lucky I found on on eBay. But I'm fairly certain most pivots work even if they're for a V8, a pivot is a pivot right?

If the engine side is for the same engine family, you are probably right. 300. 302 and 351w are all most likely the same since they are all the same bell pattern, 351m/400/460 is another family.
Did you notice the one out of stock has a rounded ball end on it, and the one you are looking at buying is more like a regular shaft? You can see they also have plastic bushings in there I believe. As far as the other one fitting, apparently no one has tried it. If you had a good rat tale file, you probably could file the holes if they did not line up.

Not true!
Look at the picture of the linkage tells the story of the motor side pivot.
The 300 is a longer motor so it screws into the block the v8 has a bracket that bolts to the bell housing.
Frame side I am not sure on but has to be a reason why years don't cross?
I also remember something different between the late 80 my truck is and the early that my parts truck was I just dont remember what it was, both were 300 six trucks.
Wonder what you paid for that motor side pivot as I seen them going for some good money.
I would like to get a spare or at least a good one I can get measurements from to have a shop make up a few.
Yes mine was bad when I got the truck and tried to fix it 3 times. I had to get a new one but did not have time to get measurements from as I needed to use the truck.

Alrighty so if anyone is having the same problem as me, it does in fact not fit. Unfortunately it's too tall, and not long enough to reach the holes in the frame. I think the best bet is just having someone weld something for yah.
