Hello, new to the forum. I just picked up a beater 94 F150. So far it's a fun project.
I took off the housing around the steering column and found this wire just hanging down not connected to anything. Just curious if anyone knows what this connection is?
I took off the covering in order to change some burnt out bulbs in the instrument cluster. There was a beeping when I turned the truck on and I read that could be because of an airbag light burnt out. Well there was no bulb in the airbag light socket. So I replaced that and a couple other bulbs.
Now the airbag light is blinking 5 + 1. So having read on this forum I figured out was code 51 is, but I'm curious if this wire has anything to do with is?
Any suggestions on this wire and next steps would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers! Looks like it is part of the bundle going into the back of steering wheel
