About 1500 we had a nice looking line of rain and storm headed right for us. NOPE, mostly died before getting here. 2/100th of an inch of rain and a boomer or 2 in the distance. Now it is 85°, 88%rh and it feels like 102° out.
Can you say more miserable the 3 foot of white sheet and 0° with a stiff wind!

Sensational sunny Saturday morning Alabama, Chef Steve, John and all the crew waiting on dinner!
Looks to be a beautiful day in WV with plenty of sun, 88°, rh <50%, Index of 89° and a light breeze! I have started some of my Domestic Househusband Chores, but it is about time to don the Thong and get out and do the yard work. It is always fun to watch the traffic jam while I am working in the Thong, especially when the ladies stop and watch!
I haven't had sausage popper boats in a long time. I have never made them, Mom did 40+ years ago and I have been to some Parties/Gatherings and someone had them. It is a regional thing and no two are exactly alike! But I never found one I didn't like!!
Now the, Drunken Italian noodles I have fairly often or the Thai version!

P.S. as I remember Mom making them, she used a 1 pound of hot sausage from the store and somewhat formed them into a round bowl shape. The oven was preheated and she put the bowls in a muffin pad and baked them for a while to set the shape. All the while making the filling. Pulled them out and filled the bowls and baked them! OH, so good! I don't have a clue what the filling was other then cream cheese, fine diced onion and some other stuff. The cheese topping was added at the end! This is about all I can remember her making them.
