Hello Steve, Rod...tried the towel and cord a couple times now and it seems to be making a difference with the neck pain Rod. Hoping I'm not speaking too soon, still have pain in the shoulder and arm still feels heavy..

Oh, I forgot to add, that the other symptoms such as heavy aching arms may be that way a little longer.
that is because of nerve impingement.
Aleve should help with inflammation at that point.

I am on anti- inflammatory meds but finish them up tomorrow morning.

I managed to get the lawn cut today on the riding mower before the rain started, under tornado warning now until around 11 this evening..neck is feeling a lot better but the shoulder and arm still feel stressed and weak..
