Good morning John and Rod.. Another hot day here with a chance of rain maybe.. But we are under a heat advisory until Friday at 7pm.. Feels like temps in the 105-108°F range..

Hello Steve, it's raining here today. Supposed to get a break from it for a few days before it rains again..Been getting the pistons reading to go back in the motor, checking the ring end gaps.

I need to fix the tailgate lift on the flex.. I have to replace it.. seems to be a common problem.. it cost about $250 for the part.. Not going to pay them a ton to replace it. I think I might be capable..

Labour rates can hurt the pocket book, I try and do as much as I can..I'm going to need to replace the front rotors and pads on the Impala before the fall..
I better get back out to the shop and finish up the last two pistons so they are ready to go in..

My night at work was hot and sweaty.. Still soaked.. I removed the crud out of the sprinkler that failed to work last night. So all is right with the system tonight.. Off tomorrow..

Fantastic Friday morning Alabama, Steve, John and all the Party crew seeing this is the Weekend Eve and Party time.
It has been hot and steamy in WV and today is no exception. 83° at 1030, 90% rh, bright hot sun and an index of 90° already. We are headed to about 90° and an index of 100+ this afternoon and more storms!
Yesterday was miserable at 90°, rh of 78%, index of 103° and a bright hot sun. I made standing and watching the parade very steamy! Then about 1399 the storms rolled in and gave us a 30 minute break in the Sauna. Then the sun returned and talk about even more miserable at the cookout!

Good morning John, Rod and passer bys.. having a heavy rain storm right now..it has been a bit since we have had any measurable rain.. my tomatoes will like the change..I hope the peppers perk up some..

Morning Steve and yesterday was the first appreciable rain we have had in 4 weeks with almost 3/4 of an inch. It has been int he 80-90 with high humidity for 4 weeks and less 1/4 inch of rain that same amount of time!
Today is a repeat of yesterday with hot and humid morning and storms this afternoon!
