I am a systems person and keeping stuff updated just part of life. Applied my free maps update this morning and it took a while.
Where how did you get this? Is there some kind of version number to know if one's maps are up to date? How do you apply the update?

What USB update? What was the known issue?

In the future probably won't have much say with increased use of over the air updates.
I usually keep things up to date. And getting better vibes now after reading all of this about updates.
I'll be applying the Gateway update Zoodad helped me with tomorrow via USB stick. Then we'll see what happens. Not to keen about having to go to my dealer for FDRS out of fear of what else they will screw up (not too impressed with them).
