@ZooDad I am also in the same sinking boat. I have a new to me 2022 F350 Limited that is not getting any OTA updates. I am surprised and encouraged to see you are the point of contact for real world fixes for this issue as well. Your advice and help has steered me well in the past in regards to Forscan updates. Thanks for any help you can provide.

When I called OTA tech support I was told that I would not receive any more updates unless I installed the Ford pass app on my phone. I said I would not because the legal verbiage gives ford permission to "record every utterance made inside my truck". The tech replied with "then you will not receive any over-the-air updates".

Ford, holding people hostage unless they give up their privacy :/

Just got back from my dealer who told me since I am out of my 3year 36k warranty, this is not covered nor does the extended warranty they sold me help. They wanted to charge me a $196 diagnostic fee to determine if modules were bad and only then would the extended warranty cover the module replacement. Very disappointing especially since I opened a case with Ford myself 6 months ago which was before my 36 months ran out :-(

@ZooDad can you help?
Its been awhile since I posted this but need to update everyone. @ZooDad was a tremendous help with his cable, instructions, etc that he provides. I had a few questions and issues and he responded immediately during the process. The key is read his instructions and the prompts from FDRS and your truck screen....and most important, be patient. My Gateway module needed to be updated 3-4 times as did APIM module. After 4 years of owning this truck, I am finally fully updated to the latest. Hoping now any future updates come OTA.

If Ford is listening, I am a lifetime Ford customer. This is my 3rd Super Duty diesel and prior to that a few F150's, Expedition, and an Explorer back in 1993. Wife has had several Expeditions and now a Navigator. We are a Ford family for sure. I am disappointed Ford let me down on this one even after I opened a case 6 months prior to my factory warranty expiring. This problem that is plaguing your customers is a Ford manufacturer issue that should be covered and addressed. Thank god for people like @ZooDad .
