2023 f250 lariat 4x4 cclb 7.3. 3000 miles
passenger side mirror glass moves constantly. dealer replaced motor no fix. check engine light on and dash recall. my selling dealer is getting it today to look at glass and engine light. service guy says it may take time to get dash fixed in the meantime he says Ford MoCo will provide a loaner. I call Ford and am told it's only for 10 days, I pay out of pocket then submit receipts. the service guy seems to think it will be a lot longer then 10 days, my salesman tells me good luck because he will not be providing me a loaner truck fir that long. bought a truck I don't want a sedan, suv.
well I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Should not take 10 days if you gutted the entire interior. Sounds like BS to me.
More likely they are short on tech's. Any other dealers around?
They shouldn't have given it back to you if the mirror was constantly moving after replacing the motor.
Sounds like you've got parts changers, which a LOT of techs are becoming.
If the mirror is moving without being commanded by the switch, as in readjusting, then that's an issue with the wiring. Could be the switch, could be the harness to the mirror.
If it is 'moving' as in vibrating, they will likely have to replace the entire housing, though I've never had a mirror that was perfectly still while driving (or even idling, for that matter).
Mirrors are federally required safety equipment (which is why the Cybertruck has them even though it doesn't need them). Let the truck sit there for 30 days then declare lemon law on it and get you a new truck.
Good luck with the loaner vehicle. Dealer always tell me none available, "go rent one" and we will submit receipt for reimbursement. But never get money back from Ford.

They sent me home and now have another part on order. 12 Dec appt.
They replaced the full assembly on the driver side because it was grinding.
If it's happening when the door is opened/closed then it's a short in the wiring harness. It shouldn't reposition. I'll bet you're missing a grommet or something and a wire has chaffed.

As a previous post said and I believe it. There are no more diagnoticians, just parts swappers
I don’t know how much testing modes there are on trucks. In my world they are becoming less and less.
We had equipment for 30 years with test programs built in that we can command outputs and read feed back from said outputs. The new replacement equipment nada nothing. It don’t work? take a stab and replace something, still don’t work replace the next part. Makes me mad and makes me look like an idiot. I have been doing it for 25 years. I told our company and sales rep what you guys thinking? They just said who cares, no one uses it anyway.
