Mirror Glass

2023 F250 club 4x4 7.3. 2k miles and my passenger side mirror glass never stays put. moves going down the road , moves when the door is closed. Brought it to the dealer, they replaced the motor . Dy one with the truck home glass is still moving all over. brought it back, service manager response is, well I did what ford said I have node what to do. dropped it off a 3rd time, the original tech who worked on it says he ordered a prt but is it on national backorder. So I my dash under that recall. Is that the go to response now? Ford quality control is spit.

When looking at you tube about taking mirror out of holder it seems like a rather easy thing to do. Maybe adjusting the 3 metal tabs might do something.

A1 Auto sells just the glass, but not sure if 2020 model year glass will work in a 2023?

Hi there. Feel free to send us a DM with your vehicle's VIN and mileage. We'd be happy to look into this for you.

Do they even have a fix for the recalled dash instrument cluster yet? Mine is in the recall but have zero issues . I only got a notice once that I would be contacted when a fix was available , haven’t received anything since .

You have (2) exact threads on both of these with two different titles.

Regardless, it is a 2023. I wouldn't try to fix ANYTHING myself, because you're under warranty. They owe it to you to fix it free of charge.

As I said in your other posting, this sounds like an intermittent short in the harness because it moves when you shut the door. They need to be inspecting the harness and make sure all seals/grommets are in place.

Ford does sell just the glass. The upper and lower mirror glass are sold separately.
