My son has a 2011 f250. The passenger side headlight assembly got damaged and filled with water and of course blew out that bulb. A while later the driver side bulb went out as well. I removed the passenger side bulb to a torrent of water pouring out. And then drilled a small weep hole in the lens to finish draining it. I replaced both bulbs yesterday and initially both were working high and low beams. Then that night they wouldn't come on high or low. His fog lamps would come on but only if the high beams were engaged. Now none of them come on at all.
We checked both of the low beam fuses, the high beam fuse and the fog lamp fuse and they all look okay.
I've read that it might be the body control module but there are no other electrical symptoms. What would you recommend for the next course of action for tracking down the problem?
