Torque Shift problems
I have an 03 F250 with the 6.0, I had some transmission problems recently, and determined my transmission was bad. I know I should’ve had it rebuilt and that was the path I was going down but got talked into getting a parts truck and using that trans. Long story short it ran fine for a while but now it’s giving me some problems again it has a really hard shift from 3rd to 5th and sometimes it just put itself into fourth. It also takes 3 to 5 seconds to go into gear after I select drive or reverse, It is throwing the p02703 code which correlates to the transmission friction element D apply time range or Performance. If anybody knows for sure if it’s an actual hardware problem or if it could be an electrical problem please let me know. Thanks.

If it was an electrical problem you would have codes for an electrical problem. The codes for electrical problems are the most reliable codes that the PCM runs. If there is no electrical codes you do not have an electrical problem.
