Speed Sensor A
I have a 2001 F250 with the 5.4 engine. Automatic trans and 4 wheel drive. I am getting a code 500 that says it is the Speed Sensor A. I have changed all 4 of the sensors that I know about. The 2 on the front wheel hubs. The one on the top of the trans and the one on the rear end.
I keep getting the code and the OD light is blinking.
Which sensor is sensor A?

There is no code 500 on a 2001. What is the real code you are getting? Is it P0500?
If it is P0500 that is for the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) on top of the rear axle. Since the new sensor didn't fix it, you most likely have a wiring issue between the PCM and the VSS.
