These are meant for aircraft engines where the filter may be in a position to cause a real mess. Has a port to attach a hose.

If you have a cat or friends that have a cat, I find a litter bucket to be great for catching the oil. 4 gallon capacity and oil pours easily from the corner back into the jugs (with a funnel) for recycling.
