Technically my dad had three '56 trucks, but only mine is running, the other two are very very far away projects. Honestly--if they ever get touched, it could be 20 years...

But I really like the modern replacement gauges, and apparently nobody else sells them. So I decided to buy a couple spare gas gauges, and I also saw that finding replacement temp senders for my "modern replacemnt temp gauge" wasn't as cheap or strait forward as simply buying it from midfifty.

So my last order had two temp gauge kits that I mostly bought for the temp senders.
Only problem was they'd sold out of the temp senders and had not told anyone, so they simply wrote "canceled" on the invoice and left them out.

 

Mid-Fifty is no longer taking orders. The end is near here.

 

Really sad to see them go. I attempted to write a comment about how much they have helped us guys on a order but I don't think it was read. I did take advantage of their 75% off sale.

That sucks big time, the instructions on there were very helpful and was hoping for everyone's sake they would remain but I guess it costs money to keep a website open, that I don't know for sure..

Probably what I should have done for some of the articles, would have likely been more beneficial for the stock builders but there was a lot there for the darksider's too

 

There's a guy on the FTE forum who was a previous employee of MidFifty...he might be s good source for the installation instruction files. I have a few that I downloaded over the years that dealt mostly with non-OEM parts.

 

I actually did download them all. It will take a bit to catalog them, as not all of the file names are a clue to what's inside.
