Sad to hear. My last catalog is still marked up for items on the "need to buy" list. What is another good vendor for replacement F100 parts? I will be needing glass and rubber soon.
I always purchase rubber products from Dennis Carpenter. When mid fifty sold rubber products sometimes they came in Carpenter packages.
Mid 50 did ship postal many of my shipments came that way a few did come FedEx and only a few times I recall they used UPS. Rumor has it FEXEx and UPS might merge. They will call it FED UP! AJ.
Another one we lost several years ago is Hot Rod's parts from Ohio. I bought a lot of parts from him. He would always be at Carlisle. He wanted to retire and no one took it over.
Abe,
YES.. Rod and Mrs. Denise and their two boys were the kindest folks around.
I bought some more parts from midfify this week. There were items on my wish list that I wanted to get now rather than wonder if another company might have them later. They were delivered yesterday. Really quick shipping and pricey shipping too. But, if you spend big bucks, you get free shipping.
its sad to see them go i did placed a good order my self this week a bunch odds and ends lucky that's all I'm down too with my build I still have a backorder from spring still waiting on
but i also have Obsolete Auto Parts in Oklahoma city hour away from me. not sure how they are doing?
I ordered a modern temp gauge replacement for my '56, some brake lines(USA), and seatbelts. I feel guilty getting a good deal at the cost of their whole business; but I would never have bought this stuff at normal prices...I like my truck and it treats me well, but the seatbelts it has work. The aftermarket temp gauge works.

I ordered the modern temp gauge also. Glad to hear it worked for you. Hope you didn't get the last one!
I was thinking now might be the time to buy a headliner. But they don't have any. I'm thinking about building my own. Any suggestions on material for one?
Since my truck body is original it doesn't have to be fancy.
Poster board might be something to look into for interior panel applications, I bought a headliner kit & wasn't satisfied with fit of the rear window panels so I made my own.
