Starter stuck, can't remove
Help, my starter died so easy enough roll under there and take the two bolts out and install the new one, right? should take me about a half hour. but no, after removing the bolts the starter is stuck, I have hammered and pried and no luck, it must be the Bendix stuck engaged? how do I get it to release? plenty of oil in the area so no rust issues.

Welcome to FTE
When you say the starter went "belly up" what was it doing or not doing to make you say that?
Is the cable still hooked up? If so what if you try and start it with the bolts out?
Also try and turn the motor over by hand. Using a socket on the crank bolt see if it will turn over.
That may also free the gear from the flywheel / flex plate.
You sure all the bolts are out? I dont think there were 3 bolts holding the starter but?
Other than that maybe a bigger hammer?

Well at first I thought my battery was low so maybe the alternator was not working , so I charged the battery and it fired right off, then I got stuck again, thinking the battery was low I got a jump but no start as the solenoid just clicked, so I used my jumper cable to bypass the solenoid and got it to start, cranking speed normal. then the starter just stopped working and just very slow cranking and jumper cable getting hot. as it was stuck with the bolts out I jumped the solenoid and no sparks, nothing happening now, dead.and stuck, no removing.
