73 F250. Having trouble removing bottom bolt on front passenger side shock. The bolt head contacts a big metal cross piece before backing out enough to release shock. Has anyone else ran into this? Not enough clearance to back bolt out.
Cut the bolt head off or cut the bolt in between the bracket and the shock eye. And then come time to replace it, put the nut on the bracket captive side and the bolt IN from the open side. Or does the bracket unbolt from what is it mounted to?
