Anyone have insight on how to get these one piece factory style leaf spring bushings into the leaf spring eye without tearing the flange? I have a 20ton press and ball joint press tool but no dice on getting them in without ruining them.
it’s an 07 F-150 with factory leaf springs and factory rubber one piece bushings from MOOG
Well... didn't go well, i got the big bushing in but ruined 2 more smaller eye bushings and called it quits right there. I didn't want to go the poly bushing route plus my leafs were tired anyway so i ordered some new 3/1 leafs for it that include the bushings. Probably better in the long run anyway. might have to add some lift shackles to get the height i want but we'll see
