[QUOTE=rla2005;20963332]That is not normal. VREF comes out of the PCM Pin 26.
At pin 26 the Vref is still .34. I’m guessing I either didn’t do a good job on the capacitor replacement or one of the chips has gone bad. Anyway I can test either of these?
I was going to take out the relays and with the key on from the tests before (key will be off when I remove relays) I noticed that relay 1 and 3 are very warm, they are hot enough you don’t want to leave your finger on them very long. According to my book these are yhe EEC and horn relays. Should they be getting this hot? I would assume no and the others are cool to the touch. I also noticed relay 1 doesn’t have any branding like the others. Could it have been replaced or did some of them come this way?
New computer in and it fixed the problem. Good VREF and no longer running rich. Chasing vacuum leaks now and she should be ready for the road. Thanks for all the help from everyone.
