Coolant Capacity
Hi Guys - I'm new here and this may have been asked and answered in the past so please excuse me for possibly rehashing this. I have a 2007 F150 with the 4.2. I wanted to drain my coolant and replace with new. The manual says that the capacity is about 19 quarts. When I drained the system through the radiator I only got about 6 quarts out. I know there is some in the block and some in the heater core but thought I would get more than 6 quarts out. Is there a way to get more out? Or should I just replace what I got and drive it for a while and repeat until I've put in about 19 quarts of new juice. Thank You
