2002 7.3L evans coolant capacity?

2002 7.3L evans coolant capacity?
Hey guys!
I was wondering if any one knows how much liquid this thing takes? I just put evans waterless coolant in after flushing the old stuff out including draining both block drains and heater core, radiator and i only got in 4.5 gallons or so. I read somewhere powerstrokes take 8 gallons. So why cant i get in the other 3.5 gallons in? Hope this doesnt sound stupid. oh and yes i let it warm up so the thermostat would open to bleed the air out. ran it for 3 hours so far.
