C-4 question

C-4 question
I have a cable shift C-4 in my 65 Ranchero. I want to install a Lokar shifter and the process would include changing from cable activated to the older style rod activated. It seems like it should be a straight forward process to me. Are there any known complications to making the change?

You may have to either turn the shifter arm on the trans 180* or change it out. The would involve dropping the pan, loosening the 7/8" nut holding it, and doing what was required. Or you may not have to do anything.
