B&M shifter problem

I have installed a C4 transmission in my 66 slick that originally had a C6. The shifter was working perfectly fine with the other transmission, but when I go to install it on the C4, I notice that the throw on the cable doesn't match with the linkage on the transmission. Is there a way to change the throw on the cable or do I need to get another cable?

Thanks for any help/advice

You could probily contact B+M to see if what you need will be in the box or I am sure they have it on a shelf.

thanks for everyone's help. got the correct parts on there now but i am still having a shifting issue problem. it surges between 2nd and 3rd gear, thinking some debris may be caught in the valve body somewhere so i am manually shifting for now til it clears up. sure don't want to have to replace clutches
